At the October 13, 2009 Organizational Meeting, Council passed a motion to amend the meeting schedule as follows:
Municipal Committee and Agricultural Service Board items will now be addressed during the regular meetings of Council.
All meetings are held in the Council Chambers of the County of Newell No. 4 Administration Building located in Brooks, AB at 707 - 2nd Ave. East unless otherwise noted.

- Municipal Planning Commission (MPC): Meetings will be held on Thursday of the first full week of every month and the following third Thursday beginning at 10:00 a.m.
- Council: Meetings will be held on Thursday of the first full week of every month and the following third Thursday beginning immediately following the MPC meeting.
Municipal Committee and Agricultural Service Board items will now be addressed during the regular meetings of Council.
