Scandia, Alberta is a beautiful little hamlet located about 1 kilometer west of Highway 36 in County of Newell Division 4. Scandia is home to the Eastern Irrigation Historical Park where you can see what life was like on the farm in days gone by. There is a large display of antique machinery, buildings and home of one of the only old style grain elevators on the prairies. The population of Scandia is 119 persons.
